Thank you for coming forward and expressing your concerns. There is definitely help for you and I suggest that you go and see a doctor or therapist immediately. If you are having any thoughts that your life is not worth living, please call 911 or go go the nearest emergency room and tell anyone that is close to you how you are feeling.
People cut for a variety of reasons and it is a very complex behavior known as self-injurious behavior. People cut themselves when they feel very stressed out, overwhelmed, unable to cope, numb, lost, alone or disconnected from themselves or the world. People sometimes cut because they feel they will gain control or relief over these feelings. Many people find their feelings of wanting to cut are difficult to resist. Cutting can lead to very serious medical complications and sometimes death.
I urge you to get help right away because you do not need to feel this way.
